Subsequent development began only at the end of the 20th century against the background of Euroscepticism and the desire of the local population to restrict migration. However, after the war, national liberalism lost its positions, and was subsequently absorbed in a completely different one. It had a significant role in the country's politics right up to the end of the First World War, since the main ideology of the party was the creation of a strong and independent democratic Germany. This movement began in Germany in the 18th century, but the main postulates were formulated almost a century later. The concept and history of national liberalism In a liberal society, all citizens are equal between each other, and the law prevails over power. They are the true and highest value of the society, therefore they cannot be infringed with the help of religion, the state or other traditional institutions. Now the most popular is the notion of liberalism as a socio-political and philosophical trend, the basis of which is the proclamation of the main rights and individual freedoms of man and citizen. In recent years, this tendency has begun to manifest itself most vividly - now there is a period of neoliberalism, which is increasingly giving power to capital, which allows you to fully regulate society, and the state itself only acts as a caretaker. However, by the beginning of the 20th century, the concept used earlier by scientists had become merely an anachronism that cannot be objectively used. At the moment, in various encyclopedias one can find dozens of concepts of this word, which explain liberalism in standardized words, which in practice are quite difficult for an ordinary person to understand. In order to correctly formulate the concept of national liberalism, one should first give an interpretation to the very word “liberalism”. In order to fully understand what constitutes national liberalism, one must first understand the history of the movement, as well as designate the true concept. This movement has experienced two spikes of interest from the population at the end of the 19th - the beginning of the 20th century, and also in the last decade.

Quite a small number of people can clearly say what national liberalism is.
